We bring Recording to the Room of Requirement
What do we mean by “At large”?
Tracking
With so many amazing spaces and environments in and around the Midwest, we realized that the space we record in needs to fit the project. As opposed to forcing the project to fit the space. Using the finest in modern digital and classic analog technology a pristine and powerful recording isn’t stuck at a bazillion dollar per hour studio anymore. We have partnered with a variety of spaces all over town.
Mixing
Mixing has become like working for many people during the pandemic; largely remote. We mix on a hybrid analog gear, Pro Tools and Top of the Line Plugins at 96k in Chris’ personal mixing suite. Mixes are delivered digitally so everyone involved in the project can listen on whatever audio system they are most comfortable with.
Overdubs
Overdubs are the process of adding additional instruments or sounds in layers over an existing recording. Sounds complicated but these are even easier on a space by space basis. Why book a 1000 sqft studio to record a vocal? The space needs to meet the project.
Editing
Editing is an essential part of the record making project and like mixing is largely completed remotely. Things like Drum Aligning, Vocal Tuning and general tightening can all be achieved with the systems we use.
We can also help complete projects started at a home studio or at another facility if need be.
